With over 20 years of leadership across the UN, NGOs, and community programs, Sarah Banda-Genchev founded Sustainsy Consulting to bridge global frameworks with local realities — connecting people, policy, and practice for lasting impact.
Based in Germany and rooted in Zambia, Sarah has led initiatives with the United Nations, Forest Stewardship Council, and global partners to empower Indigenous Peoples, strengthen governance systems, and mobilize climate finance for communities worldwide.
Her work spans biodiversity, land restoration, gender equality, and youth engagement, managing multi-million-dollar programs and facilitating partnerships that drive inclusive growth.
